Chad Gates, the son of rich parents who own a pineapple farm, comes home from the army intent on resuming his old life as a beachcomber. Instead of joining the family business as planned he takes a job as a tourist guide and gets lumbered with four precocious schoolgirls and their teacher, much to the dismay of his girlfriend Maile.
