Carry On Regardless
Anglo-Amalgamated / Peter Rogers

Director: Gerald Thomas
Producer: Peter Rogers
Screenplay: Norman Hudis
Music: Bruce Montgomery

Made at Pinewood Studios and on location in Ealing

ss The incompetent, unemployed 'Carry On' team are hired by Bert Handy to form 'Helping Hands' - an odd-job agency who are willing to do anything for ( or is that ' to' ) anyone with their usual unchecked enthusiasm. In a series of linked sketches the very odd jobs include attending a wine-tasting, chimp baby-sitting and, ultimately, house demolition.

Shooting began 2nd January 1961
Debuts: Liz Fraser, Fenella Fielding, Tom Clegg
While filming the wine-tasting sketch Gerald Thomas switched the non alcoholic drink in Joan Sims' glass for neat Gin - watch her face at the first taste!
